Gwendolyn Jakway '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi I'm Gwen Jakway. Personally I believe that my work ethic is the strongest thing about me, I never miss a day of school or practice and I typically excel in all of my classes. Currently I hold a 3.3 gpa and I'm able to maintain that while playing two sports and having a part-time job. Balancing my work, athletic, student, and personal life has never been an issue for me and I always make sure to prioritize education before anything else. I understand that being a girl while playing male dominated sports can be challenging but I have never let those challenges get in between me and what I want to accomplish in my athletic career and I intend to continue to work through those challenges.
