I started running when I was little, I grew up doing 5k's, triathlons, and more with my older sister. I later realized that doing sprints was more my thing. I've been running track since 7th grade, starting in the 100m, and later in 8th grade, finding out I excel in the 400m I hold numerous records at the middle school level, as well as state runner-up in the middle school state meet. I knew I found my passion. At the high school level, I made varsity my freshman year and went to state. I also competed in AAU in the 2023 Post Season and became an AAU state champion in the 4x400 relay
I'm a very self-motivated person. I strive to be the best and encourage others to do the same. My mom still tells me almost daily to go out, and "be the light". I always try to see the positive in every situation and when there is no positive, I strive to be the positive.
