My name is Luke Comer and I am from Osgood, Indiana. I go to a small 1A school called Jac-Cen-Del, and play Basketball and Track & Field. In school I have an average of an A- and a 3.55 GPA. Last season I only threw 113 feet in a meet, but I have been working really hard over the summer to perfect my form, to increase my P.R. by 33 feet. I feel like I could impact the team in many ways. For me Track is a team sport, not individual so I really try to make friends with everyone, I am outgoing, I can help teammates, or coaches if necessary, and I will definitely push my teammates to be the best they can be. I am really dedicated to this sport, and I will work hard to get where I want to be.
I don't have many preferences about where I go to college. Ideally I would like to be closer to home, but I would be fine if it was further, as long as I go to the college that best fits me. My desired major as of now, is to go into business, but that could change through the rest of my high school years. I believe I would thrive best at a DII or NAIA levels, but if there is a DIII that fits me better I would be willing to do that. If you have any questions text me or give me a call at 812-756-3779.
