2018 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I feel I am a great candidate for these college teams, because I have a lot of leadership abilities. I help bring my teammates together and help them improve their running abilities and also improve mine. I am a hard working student in the classroom and always make sure school comes before running. I am known as a student athlete for a reason.
I have learned to become humbled from victories and also learn from losses. During my Freshman year I ran for the varsity team at our team’s first State Finals appearance in 11 years, but the next year didn’t go so well. Going into my Junior year I was able to understand how to react to losing and react to winning.
