Since the beginning of my running career the road has been really tough because in this sport if you want to be big you need to do it by your self with sacrifice, pain, and faith. Not always did I understand that, I thought that this sport was going to be easy to do and was not going to involve any sacrifice but throughout the years I learned the hard way. I started getting last place at the meets and this really affected me emotionally, then I realize that I need to earn my space in this sport so I started training really hard and since then I have been in the top 5 positions of PR. This makes me a good candidate because I know what is to be and the bottom and the sacrifice that being in the top means. I consider myself different from the other recruits in character since I am very determined and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to be the best. I also always try to balance my GPA and try to have it higher than a 3.75 so that my profile can be very competitive in both branches, academic and athletic.
