As of right now I am just a sophomore in high school. I'm undecided on my career path and the college I'd like to attend. Sports have always been a passion and an outlet for me. When I moved on into high school I started finding more success and drive. Freshmen year I was the #2 runner on our state 3rd place team. Also, as a freshman I was chosen by the Emporia Gazette as an all area runner. Freshmen and Sophomore year I received all league honors. Sophomore year I qualified for state as an individual. Freshmen year track included a notable 1st place finish at our league meet throwing the javelin, as well as our 4x8 making it to state. My sophomore year track season was unfortunately taken away from me, but that only means I will come back even more prepared as a junior. A small goal I have is qualifying for the Kansas state track meet in the 3 categories of events, running, jumping and throwing. But of course my main goal is to gain an Athletic scholarship, whether it's in track or cross-country.
