I’m a very hard worker that knows what it takes to succeed. I get along great with others and always trying to spread positivity. I’ve always been a very competitive person that will do anything to get to the next level. I believe there is always room for improvement.
I believe my talent came from throwing rocks when I was younger. Anytime I was near a body of water I would find rocks and see how far I could throw or skip them. I would use the same motion as a discus thrower when I threw them.
In seventh grade I found out I could do track. At the time I didn’t know much about it. Everyone said you just ran and tried to beat people so I wasn’t very interested. Then I heard there‘s events that involve throwing. I thought it sounded fun because I liked to see how far I could throw things so I gave it a shot. I realized it was the same motion as when I threw rocks. The coach helped me improve on some things and get the spin down then that’s when I realized I had a talent.
If someone came up to me and told me I would get tired of throwing someday I wouldn’t believe them. I have such a strong passion for throwing that I find it hard to believe I wouldn’t love it anymore.
