I've been used to being put in a leadership role, both academically and in sports. We've never really had any great role models on our team, so I work on making sure that the younger members have a role model and to better themselves. I'm also used to managing a busy schedule, I play varsity soccer which I became captain of my senior year. and am the captain of the varsity cross country team(which I made state for this year) and of course running track which I made state for the 1600 and 3200. The summer after my junior year I ran and worked out more then ever before in my life and the times will show that. I also am a member of the FBLA, BETA, and the previous treasurer of the FFA. The summer after the end of my sophomore year I attended the Upward Bound program at Berea University which made me familiar with the college lifestyle. I have succeeded in my classes in addition to that, and have numerous college hours.
