Gerrick Sheffer '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Gerrick Sheffer. I am currently a junior in high school in Union County, KY. I attend an early college program at Henderson Community College. I want to go into the medical field or possibly pursue running at a professional level. I am a good candidate for your team because I have been running since I was in 4th grade. I have been on varsity since I was in 7th grade so I have often been in a leadership position. I haven’t ever been the oldest or the biggest on the team until these past season, but I’ve always been a leader. I’ve always pushed myself and pushed others in the process. I love the feeling of helping someone get better and making myself better in the process. I would love the opportunity to run at the collegiate level and continue to push myself to get better as my running career progresses.
