My name is John Walker McDonald, I am 17 years old, and I am a junior at the Dunham School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where I run cross country and both seasons of track.
I have a 4.08 GPA (3.9 unweighted) and I have scores of 28 and 1150 on the ACT and the PSAT, respectively.
I have been running XC and track since 5th grade and my passion for the sport has only grown over the years. I believe I would be a great addition to your team because I am very raw. My coaches both ran in college so they have monitored my mileage over the last few years. This year my weekly mileage has been 30-35/40 for XC and 25-30 for the track seasons. We plan to increase the mileage 5-8 miles next year but still monitoring it weekly. I also believe I am an extremely hard worker. Throughout my life I have given forth full effort in everything I do and running is no exception. Wherever I plan to attend in college I will work on anything I need to become to best runner and version of me possible.
