Conner Buchanan '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Conner Buchanan and I am a senior at Doyle High School in Livingston, Louisiana. I have been running track ever since 10th grade and I have loved it ever since. My main even is the 800m, but in college I would like to run the 800m, 400m, 4x800m, and the 4x400m and I would like to run the 200m as well and long jump. My PR in the 800m is 2:24.38, and my PR in the 200m is 27.61. I really want to run track in college, and I would also love to run cross country in college as well. I also have great academics, and currently I have a GPA of a 3.72 and an ACT score of 24. I always try my hardest in the classroom to get the best grades possible. I want to major in electrical engineering and when I graduate college I want to become a hardware engineer. I would prefer to stay in state, but I will go anywhere. I will talk to any coaches no matter what, I love getting to talk to coaches and learning more about teams. I will run in any division, DI, DII, DIII, NAIA, JC any of them I will run at. It is my dream to run college track and I cannot wait for when that time comes around. I think I would make an excellent condition to your team because I have amazing teamwork, I always push my teammates to try their hardest to work as hard as they can so they can get faster and perform at their best ability. I always get my teammates excited and hyped up for a race and make sure that they are feeling confident. I always get along with coaches and teammates, and I always build strong bonds with teammates and coaches. My coaches and my teammates are considered family to me. I will always try my hardest and work as hard as I can. I will perform at the best of my ability no matter what. I want to keep getting faster so I can perform the best that I can in my races. I also have great academics and have the best grades that I can get and I work as hard as I can in the classroom. I would love to talk to more coaches and I would love to talk more about teams and such! I hope that you consider me for you teams, I think that I would be an excellent addition to your rosters.
