My name is Trent Buggs, and I'm a 2025 grad. I'm currently the President of the National Honor Society, with a 3.8 GPA in all honor classes. I'm 6 feet tall and 140 pounds, I like staying active, and working out. I knew I wanted to play some type of sport, I started playing basketball this year, but when I tried track for the first time, I knew this could be my passion. I started off badly because I didn't know what events I liked doing, but one of my favorite qualities about myself is my leadership and determination to do things. I tend to give things I enjoy my all because I'm very competitive and don't like losing. I stayed after school everyday on the track and in the weight room, so I could find the right events for me and prepare myself. The times of my races got lower and lower, and the distance I jumped got longer each time. The determination I had for my sport allowed me to come first in the 300-meter hurdles and second in the long jump at the LHSAA Class B-District 2 meet. I also came in 2nd in the 300-meter hurdles at the LHSAA Class B-Region 1 Championships meet.
