I will make a good candidate for your team because I am extremely dedicated in every endeavor I undertake on and off the track. I wake myself up at 5 am every day to complete my core work and go on a 4-mile run before heading off to school. At school, I strive to do my best in my academics, challenging myself with rigorous AP programs and studying as hard as possible to ensure I am getting the best grades possible. After school, I attend practices with my school's track team, of which I am the captain. At practice, I push myself and my teammates as hard as I possibly can to ensure that I elevate those around me while also elevating myself to the highest level possible. Outside of track and academics, I am a member of my communities Boy Scout program. I am currently a Life Scout working rigorously to attain my Eagle Scout award. Through scouts, I have been given the opportunity to give back to the community which has truly taught me the importance of helping others every chance I can. No matter what activity I engage in whether it be track, school, boy scouts, or any other endeavor I may face in the future I will continue to push and dedicate myself to being the best I possibly can be.
