My name is Jeffrey Ayeh-Datey. I came to the U.S from Ghana my 6th grade year.I ran track my freshman and junior year. My freshman year was when I found out I had a passion for the sport. Unfortunately covid came and I only got to run indoor not outdoor. Even though I didn't win any races my freshman year. The time I spent with my team mates practicing and competing at track meets made me realize I loved the sport. I loved the race, the adrenaline and how it made me feel. It was the first sport I ever played and I truly loved it. I think positive in tough situations and I always strive to get faster. I am determined to try and win a race or get faster. I am looking to run track and field in and after college.
