Samuel Omotoso '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Samuel Omotoso. I am an aspiring collegiate runner and I am currently a junior at Seneca Valley High School in Germantown, Maryland. I came to the U.S. from Nigeria when I was in 3rd grade. Growing up in the U.S. a lot of people encouraged me to run track but I never considered it until I got to High School. I joined my school’s track team my sophomore year after covid and I fell in love with the sport. The time I spent with my teammates practicing and competing at track meets made me realize I loved the sport, even though track practices were hard at times I still loved it and pushed myself to get better and improve on my techniques. It was the first sport I ever played and I truly loved it.  I think positive in tough situations and I always strive to get faster. I am determined to try and win a race or get faster. I am looking to run track and field in and after college.
