Cameron Yon '15 Recruiting Profile

I have many athletic and academic goals for my college career such as improving significantly in the discus throw and shot put with dreams of going to the Olympic level for either one. Also I will strive to earn a masters degree in one of the majors I have in mind, earning at least a 3.0 in all of the classes I will take. I am a very driven, motivated, determined, and respectful student-athlete and also coachable. I have been Captain of the indoor and outdoor track and field teams. I thrive to do better everyday and learn something new that will help me with my overall technique. I also try to help my fellow athletes with whatever problems they are having and help them through to a solution, because I might learn something new from him/her.I am currently aiming for a 3.4 GPA by the time I graduate from high school. I am looking forward to being accepted to a college with a very competitive track and field program, providing me with a very challenging experience.
