Track & Field 2013Personal Statement
I am a rising senior attending Patuxent High School. Most of my time is spent focusing on academics, making music, participating in & attending sporting events and making people laugh. As a leader, I do my best to set a good example at all times. It's rewarding to help teachers, fellow students, people in the neighborhood and my family with anything they need done. I'm a current member of the Calvert County Sheriff's Explorer Post, which is a program for youth to help in their community and it builds character. The program helped me grow as a person and become more confident and encouraging to others.
As an athlete, I'm interested in track & field and football. This past season, I achieved new PR's in Track & Field at both the SMAC & Regional levels. My greatest achievement was winning the Bronze Medal at the 2A South MPSSAA State T&F Meet for Triple Jump. In football this season, I'll play Wide Receiver.
My goal after graduating is to attend college to continue my academic & athletic success.
