I'm the type of student athlete that is always ready for a race even when my running chances are very low. There was a time when I was the 8th runner in my team and only the top 7 were running at regionals. I trained with the top 7 and I went to the regional race to support them. one of our good runner was sick on the last minute. I stepped up and ran for him and got 5th out of our top 7. I want you to know I'm willing to train hard and always be there with full hope if a time comes that I should step up and show who I am.
From freshman year to sophomore year I was the most improved athlete and I am still improving by a lot. I ran a 23:30 5000 meter at the start of my freshman year. Then I ran a 19:46 at the start of my sophomore year, and finished off the season with a time of 17:50. I was given the Blazer Coaches Award my junior year fro being the most determined and hardest working runner on the team. During Indoor track of my junior year, me and my 3 other friends got 3rd place in an invitational and broke our Indoor track DMR record at the same time. we got a medal from then. Me and my friends also got a medal for placing 3rd in an invitational my sophomore year. I also got ribbons for placing 4th at county B and 11th at hood college invitational. I also ran all 3 years of my high school without an injury.
