Personal Statement

     My name is Gavin Thomas. I am currently a senior at Duxbury High School in MA. I started running track the winter of my freshman year and it has become my favorite sport. My favorite events in track are the 200 ,300 and the relays. Academically I am a strong student, taking honors and AP classes, and plan on studying engineering in college.

     When I have down time from my academic studies and athletic pursuits, I enjoy many outdoor activities including fishing, mountain biking, woodworking, and making fishing lures.

4x200 Relay Qualified for New Balance Nationals 3/5/22, 6th place in 300 Division III state 36.98, 1st place in my state meet in 200 M, 4 x 100 team ran in the outdoor New Balance Nationals as well as my Sprint medley team.
