Jacob Moody '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jacob Moody from Danvers MA. I am a junior enrolled in the Culinary program at Essex North Shore Agricultural and Technical School in Danvers. I love to run as it is therapeutic. I get the chance to clear my head and focus on my priorities, whether it is beating my personal record, academics or even just my health and well being. I feel refresh and like a new person after a run.  I started Cross Country as I entered High School My coach suggested that since I have never ran long distance before he suggested that I condition myself over the summer.  I jumped right in and ran over 26 miles that first week and have continued ever since. During competitions I strive to push myself to end up on top as well as helping my team succeed. A proud memory was when I earned my Varsity Letter as a freshman. I am discipline as I balance my academics and sports as a student athlete. Thank you for your consideration.
