I am looking forward to pursuing my education to further my career goals. I also am looking forward to better myself through track and keeping a team dynamic that was present throughout high school. Something that makes me different is thatI am an extremely competitive person I have an older brother who threw for my high school who was much larger than me (6'5"-320lbs) and I wanted to surpass him in something and that was track I had taken my brothers records every year and I was able to take the schools record in my outdoor season and to do so I worked hard in the weight room and on my technique. Something else that makes me different is the way that I throw, I don't do the traditional glide or spin I do a step back as you can see in my video. Its not that I don't want to learn the glide or the spin, I do but with the step back I felt that it was easier for me to self coach to improve using that technique. I am a very coachable athlete because I do both the javelin and the shot-put. Javelin was new to me this year and I ended up placing 9th for javelin in the Massachusetts Division III meet and at that same meet took 3rd in the shot-put (45'6'.5"). I am not afraid to show up early or to stay late. I am a quick learner as you could see through javelin this year. This is what you should get out of this I am looking forward to my education, I am completive person, a quick learner, and have a lot of raw potential.
