I have always enjoyed running during my lifetime. I only started to take it serious when I arrived at high school. At first, I was just running track to stay active for baseball in the spring. This was the case for my freshman and sophomore years of high school. However, for my junior year, I fell in love with running and decided this was going to be my main sport. As a kid, I always thought I'd play baseball in college, but now, I want to run track in college.
I have a great reaction time to the sound of the gun, and recently started training seriously at the start of quarantine to be the best that I can for these upcoming seasons. I love being in relays for the team, and hope that I can put my hard work to the test this upcoming winter/spring seasons.
I'll do anything my coach asks me to do, weather it's a relay or a race I haven't ran before. I just want to run in general. I'm a good candidate for their team because I will push my fellow teammates to run with me. I love to run with others to help push myself as well. When I am not running, I am studying for my academics. I have a high GPA and work to be the best student that I can be.
