Colby Scott '21 Recruiting Profile

I love hockey, I know there are other sports out there.... but nothing compares to the speed of hockey and nothing else is more enjoyable. I have played and excelled in many other sports such as;  soccer, lacrosse, baseball, snowboarding, skiing, and golf but they are all a distant second.

Hockey to me is also great because it is a true team sport. There are no out of bounds and no where to hide, you are always involved with the play, even when you don't have the puck. A great play might simply be covering your guy or taking away time and space from your opponent.  My love and understanding of the game is something that I feel will rub off onto my teammates.  I have usually been among the leaders on my team through my playing ability and team focus. I am often the player who sets up the power play or skates the puck out of the zone and away from danger. Skating is probably my best hockey skill that I can bring to a team.

My goal is to continue playing hockey for a college team after I graduate from high school in June 2021
