Personal Statement
My name is Joshua Phinney and I am a Junior at Pembroke High School.
I have a love for running, especially distance and hope to be able to continue at the college level. I have been a varsity athlete my entire high school career for Cross Country, Indoor Track and Spring Track. Each season I set goals to improve my PR's and work hard on getting stronger. I love being a leader and being part of a team. I aspire to be part of a wonderful college and Cross Country and Track program that is competitive and build great relationships with teammates.
As a Junior, I was just named Patriot League All Star on 11/1/2021 at the Patriot League Championships where I placed 10th overall.
I work really hard in the classroom as well and hope to pursue a college education in Engineering or Finance. I am taking AP & honors classes and maintain a 4.15 weighted GPA.
I look forward to what the future holds for me.
