As an athlete, I consider myself pretty young in the sport of running. However, the lessons and accomplishments I've been able to achieve through my time at Salem Academy Charter School has molded me into an individual of strong character and potential, who values the importance of team cohesiveness and specificity to goal setting. My mileage has been relatively low but progressive over the past 3 years, from 20 up to 35-40 miles per week, and over the past several months I've stressed the importance of supplementary training as part of success in the sport.

My long term goals include contributing year round to a Cross Country/Track program at the collegiate level, as well pursuing a career in Physical Therapy and Athletic Coaching. As well as giving back in the sport of running, I also want to give back to the community.
