My name is Connor Harlan, I run cross country and track for Allegan High School. I started in middle school as a football, basketball, and baseball player. My parents convinced me to join the cross country team due to my desire to compete on an individual level. I ended up loving it my 8th grade year, and saw that I had a lot of potential. I have been running ever since.
I think my coaches, teammates, and parents would say that I am a really hard worker and strive to do my best in everything that I do. I like to set high goals for myself and do everything I can to achieve them. I work hard in school and know the importance of getting good grades. So far in high school I have achieved a 3.4 cumulative GPA and my goal is to eventually be close to a 4.0. I am taking AP Chemistry and plan on continuing to challenge myself academically. Outside of running I like to snowboard and hangout with my friends.
In the future I hope to be offered a scholarship for running and academics. I hope to keep running beyond college and for the rest of my life.
Sincerely,
Connor Harlan
