Charles Patterson '24 Recruiting Profile

Dear College Coaches ,

I hope this email finds you well. My name is Charles Cross Patterson and I am a 2024 high school student-athlete who is extremely passionate about sports in general but lately track has been what I mostly enjoy. 

I believe that my dedication, work ethic, and performance on the track align with the values of any track and field program. I currently have a 3.0. I started running track my junior year of high school I tore ligaments in my right ankle my 10th grade year which caused me to sit out and my 9th grade year was my Covid year . My Junior year I ran the 100m , 400m , 4x1 , 4x2 and 4x4 my 100m time from last year is 12. and my 400m time is 55, I made all city last year and went to regionals  and won medals in the 4x1 and 4x2 I also run first leg each relay , track in not the only sport I was involved in , I ran cross country and played basketball also my Personal Records from 9th grade until now in cross country would be 

9th-33:14.3

10th-23:26.4

11th-21:22.70

12th-20:58.00 

I made all city 3 years and regionals 4 years this year I missed city’s this year because of a groin injury . Although I’m not sure if i want to run cross country in college, but my times show how much Ive progressed and how hard I’ve worked  to get batter each year in the same way in everything I do by the end of this year I hope to have a time of 10.58 in the 100m and 49.00 in the 400m . I also want to say my school isn’t even known for sports teams I go to Davis aerospace technical high school where we don’t even have a indoor or outdoor track which made me work harder to show people what hard work and dedication can do .
