I have been running tack and field competitively since my sophomore year of high school. After my first season, I quickly gained a strong interest in the sport, especially the 100 and 200 meter races. I have played varsity football and power lifting where I was an individual state champion for my high school, yet track is by far my favorite.
Throughout my high school career, academics has been my primary focus with athletics at a close second. I'm proud to say I have passed all of my AP classes and currently have roughly a years worth of college credit under my belt. While participating in sports, I led the teams to the best of my ability and was the team captain for my track team my junior year.
I hope to continue my track career in college as I have a love for the sport and the environment surrounding it. I believe that I am very coachable which has helped me on and off the track, and that I am able to adapt to different coaching dynamics with ease among the various coaches.
