The most important thing to me is my education. I love my athletics and would love to pursue them in college, but the biggest factor that will go into my college decision is the level of education and the diversity of the college. I am very serious about my educational experience as I want to make sure that where I attend will give me the chance to have a unique personalized learning environment where I can challenge myself and my peers. I want to earn an MBA along with a minor statistics or economics.
I first started cross country and track in middle school to be more fit for soccer. I soon realized I loved the people in the running community and the sport itself in every aspect. I am somewhat talented in the sport so I won a lot of meets and that feeling of success really pushed me towards the sport. I attended the University of Michigan's running camp the summer going into my Freshman year and was blessed to be able to run with the best runners our state had to offer. Seeing elite runners really motivated me to innovate my training schedule and life habits.
I finished my freshman year with the prs of 17:35 in the 5k, 2:08 in the 800, 4:53 in the mile, and 10:38 in the 3200, my last meet I placed 13th at 2018 MITCA D1 Team State Meet in the 3200, and also placing 7th in the 4X800. Just a few days before that I ran at my league meet and placed 3rd in the 4x800 as our 3rd leg where i split a 2:08, then after running the 4X800 I placed 5th in the 3200.
I love my school and spend the bulk of my time at the school or doing things for the community. I am a part of my school's Deca club, Student council, Class of 2021 executive board, along with my three varsity sports teams. One of my other clubs is Student council, I have been on student council since my 4th grade year where I was historian, because of my love for history and documentation. I have been treasurer every year since then, besides this year because I was promoted to Treasurer. I am also the class of 2021's treasurer where I am in charge of fundraising and keeping track of the money.
