I started running in middle school, where my relay team broke the 4 X 800 school record. Unfortunately, my first two years of high school track were cut short due to the pandemic and an injury. This past year is where my passion for running really took off when I PR’d each race in the 400M. I have been cross-training for the past two years to improve my stamina and physical fitness to be my best. My goal for next season is to break the 400M school record of 49.8 as well as qualify for individual state and become All-conference. My work ethic and capability to manage time, grades, faith and family is what makes me stand out. During the pandemic, I worked almost 40 hrs a week, kept up my grades with straight A’s, and continued to train daily, while also volunteering at my church and finding time for my friends and family. I see my future excelling as a college athlete and pursuing my passion in Exercise Science/Athletic Training to help others reach their potential in athletics.
