Personal Statement

I began competitive running in 6th grade, joining my middle school cross country team. I was a multi-sport athlete, also participating in baseball and basketball. After leaving behind baseball in 7th grade and basketball in 8th, I decided to focus strictly on running. My goal is to attend a good, strong college and hopefully participate on a cross country/track team while pursuing a degree in preferably management or communications. I have good leadership when it comes to focusing on what is required while knowing right from wrong from a behavioral standpoint.  I have an outgoing personality and my work ethic is improving on a daily basis. God has blessed me with many great opportunities, and I will continue to strive for even more.
