Personal Statement

I have been participating in organized track and field since I was 13 years old.  I have always been a sprinter and long jumper.  Running at the collegiate level would be a dream come true for me.  

I recently quit football to pursue a full, year-round season dedicated to track and field.  Participating in as many camps and track specific workouts as I can is my goal.  

I am working hard academically as well.  I am a good student and push myself to take challenging classes.  I am a member of the Stoney Creek High School Link Crew and Rotary Club which I am looking forward to continue that throughout my high school career.

Attending a college that can fit my academic needs, athletic goals, and personal aspirations is my main focus.  I am considering many options and hopefully will find a perfect match to push me to the next level.  I am excited and looking forward to my future.
