My freshman year of high school, I found a passion for sports. It was my first year of football. However, I had been throwing and training in the shot put in middle school. Over the next two summers, I trained with Toby Pallett and the Magsig-Pallett Throwing Club. I used this off-season time to train and attend the 2023 and 2024 Junior Olympics in Iowa and North Carolina for discus and shot put. I have learned many lessons over the last few years, including challenging myself to grow and seeking advice from coaches and trainers. I am currently signed up to work remotely with the Throws University training system.
I would be a good candidate for your team because of my willingness to learn and to help others. I am devoted to my team members and always bring a positive attitude. I share what I have learned with my other team members. I have a great work ethic and will seek advice and training from those around me to improve my skills on and off the field. I currently have a 3.9 GPA and assist in tutoring others at school. I will be a valued member of the team and an excellent scholar at your school. Because of my unique high school experience and experience in dorm life, I am much more independent, self-sufficient, and know how to balance school, training, and life.
I look forward to participating in college athletics and pursuing an engineering and construction management degree. I would be a valuable and committed asset to any school looking for a student-athlete who can promote a positive attitude and a servant-leader mentality.
