I started my track career in 7th grade. Getting to know the sport. I was also in basketball. The next year my form helped me to become the number 3 8th grade thrower in the country. That was roughly the same time I started to love the art of medicine. Working out, learning the muscles and how the body works. My ninth grade year was a learning curve. I was fighting limes during the season, losing my will to throw. I finished the year with a rough patch but a hunger to become better. The next year was my sophomore year. I fought to become the best thrower I could be. I set the school record, and placed at the state track meet. I've learned that it doesn't matter how good you were in the past, you always have to work harder, to become the best student athlete you can be.
