Hello, I'm Dylan Schwarz, part of the Class of 2024 with a GPA of 3.9. I specialize as a sprinter, specifically in the 400m. Currently, my 400m time stands at 51.06, but I'm determined to improve that with rigorous training over the upcoming summer. I only began taking track seriously last season, and now I'm aspiring to take my skills to the next level after graduation.
Within my team, I see myself as a leader. I take on the role of motivating my teammates, constantly pushing both them and myself to ensure our collective progress. On the track, I pride myself on being the hardest worker, always giving nothing less than 100%. Off the track, I'm just as dedicated, consistently hitting the weight room and maintaining good grades.
I'm highly coachable and have a great deal of respect for my coaches. Constructive criticism is something I welcome, especially when it comes to my track weaknesses. Recognizing these weaknesses is the first step in my journey to improvement, and I'm fully committed to addressing and conquering them.
I currently live in Minnesota, but I'm open to the possibility of relocating out of state, especially if it offers opportunities for athletic and personal growth. My academic interests lie in Kinesiology or exercise science, and I'm enthusiastic about pursuing a degree in one of these fields.
