I’m Bangaly. I’m pretty new to sprinting, and knowing that, I know I have a lot of improvement on the table. I ran distance my freshman and sophomore year, but slowly moved my way down the sprints. My distance background has helped develop my work ethic for sprinting. If I was described in one word, it’d be driven. I sacrificed my senior swim season to really capitalize the time in between football and track so I can maximize my performance this season. I’ve been leading our winter running club practices, and although we don’t have an indoor track to run on, we make good use of the people filled hallways we have. My doesn't apply to just the track, as this spring, I’ll also graduate with an Associate‘s Degree in Business, before I graduate from high school, might I add. I’m a student of the sport and whenever I’m not learning about banking or doing homework, I’m researching ways to improve sprint and jumping performance. I know it’s a big goal, but becoming a national champion and representing my motherland of Guinea on the world stage is a goal of mine. I have a lot of work to do though.
