This year (2021) is my first year ever running track and I love every bit of it so far. My goal is to get better everyday and eventually be good enough to run track at the collegiate level. However, I have always been taught to prioritize my academics over my athletics, so I am looking to run for a college with a very high level of academics.
On the track, I never give less than maximum effort and never settle for anything other than my best. I am not a very vocal leader, as I am very big believe in 'actions speak louder than words,' so I prefer to let my actions do the talking. Additionally, this season has been a testament to my coachability because it is only my first year of track and I could not have grown as much as I have without listening and applying the knowledge of my coaches. Overall, I have had a great first season of track and hope to continue to grow to eventually reach my full potential.
