Steven Hinze '20 Recruiting Profile

Through hard work and determination, I have been a strong, positive leader on the McCook Bison Track and Cross Country teams, and I am eager to continue my running career at the collegiate level. Going into my senior year, I am a three time Class B state cross country qualifier and a two time Class B state 1600 qaulifier. I have made my school's merit roll every semester, and am currently carrying a 3.63 GPA. I have a strong work ethic and am always setting new goals. As a freshman, I was the fastest runner on the varsity cross country team. Since then, my team has grown in size, and we've placed better in meets and improved our times. I have lettered every year in both track and cross country. My goal is to learn skills that will make me a better competitor and help me to move forward in my career. I desire to be an asset in any track and cross country program I can be a part of and in the classroom, as well. I am now at Iowa Western Community College looking to continue my collegiate track and cross country career in the fall of 2020.
