I am currently a sophomore at Omaha Burke High School in Omaha, NE. My goals are to earn a college scholarship in track. I know I can do this because I want it and I will put in the work to get there. My times in the 800, as a sophomore, are proof of my hard work and athleticism. I missed the first six weeks of the season with a calf injury and finally got to participate in two meets before Districts to prepare. I used sure will and determination to finish in the top three at Districts to make it to Nebraska's State Championships. I push myself and give everything I have in my open events and especially for my relay teammates.
I like the atmosphere of track season and the feeling of a big "family" for teammates. I know I can and will make a difference in the college setting.
