As a multi-sport athlete I have a good idea what it is like to play as a team player but also as a leader to myself. Throughout highschool I’ve managed to work my way through tough times and pretty major set backs. As of 2021 summer I suffered from a snapped right leg playing baseball, breaking both the tibia and fibula clean. Not 8 months later I competed in track and field state championships and took 3rd in high jump as a sophomore. I believe this dedication to work hard and stay focus on becoming better show that I have the discipline and the drive to push myself and willing to push others more then the next athlete. As a student athlete I will always put my degree before sports but as a competitive athlete I am willing to work out overtime just to get the slightest advantage over the competition. As I’m going into my senior year I’m dedicated it to focus on track and to strive to compete at a D2 or higher collegiate level.
