Andrew Brown '24 Recruiting Profile

I have loved all sports for as long as I can remember.  I fell deeply in love with the hurdles after competing in the AAU Jr Olympics.  Making it to our state finals for the 300 meter hurdles my freshman year in high school was an amazing feat but becoming the Nebraska State Champion in the 300 meter hurdles my sophomore year has definitely been the highlight of my high school career thus far.  My goal is to compete on the college level and continue to get better which I feel I can accomplish with the right coach at the right school.  I am a  true STUDENT-athlete and earning a college degree in kinesiology to pursue sports medicine while doing something that I love is what I've been working throughout my middle school and high school years to achieve.  Earning honor roll achievements and receiving the presidential academic achievement awards are just as important to me as earning gold medals in track meets.  I'm looking forward to my college career as I know that chapter of my life is going to be one of the very best.
