Deven Nixon '24 Recruiting Profile

As an athlete in track and football, I have learned how to be a better player and have become part of a family of athletes at my high school. We all work together and depend on each other to do our best for the team. Football is a family of support and encouragement. In track, an individual sport, we still work together. We encourage and support each other to do our best at every practice and track meet. This has taught me good sportsmanship, respect, and the value of friendship and family. When I am on the field or track I put all my effort into my work. I practice hard and study hard. Education is very important and I maintain good grades while playing sports. I work hard at being a good person, player, and teammate.
