My name is Matthew McLaughlin and I am currently a grade 11 student at Fredericton High School. My main track event is the 400m, and this summer my goals are to run a PR in the 400 and make New Brunswick's Provincial Legion Team, a team that I have been a part of for the last three years.
The Free the Children group I am co-president of is raising money to build a school in Kenya. I have made it a personal goal to make sure that we raise the required amount of money by June 2013.
At Univsersity I would like to pursue an undergraduate degree in science, attend Medical School and become a pediatrician.
Biology, Chemistry, Math and Psychology are my favorite subjects, and I am eager to use what I learn to pursue a career in medicine.
