I have been running since I was 8 years old. I also played dek hockey until I was 11 and soccer until I got to high school. Once I got to high school, all I wanted to do was run. I have spent my life competing and it's a lifelong dream to run at the collegiate level and assist my team with winning championships.
I am very dedicated to the sport. I don't mind the sacrifice it takes to get better and I'm a very coachable athlete. I've received most consistent runner awards and even a $2500 scholarship at 11 years old from the club I participated for having good academic grades, consistent growth in my times, being liked by my teammates and for medaling at the AAU Junior Olympics in Houston, TX in the 3000 meter and 4 x 800.
I work extremely hard on my academics and maintain a high GPA. In addition, I was in NJHS when I was in middle school and now in NHS in high school. I have been a part of the Jr ROTC Air Force program here at my high school for the last 3 years and have been promoted to flight sergeant.
I'm looking forward to attending a college where I can receive a top notch education, along with the opportunity to compete in cross country, winter and spring track. My wish is to attend a college in the northeast or mid-atlantic, where I can further my education, get better at my events and help my team win championships.
