Every since I was 6 years old, I've been fan and a student of the game of track . Experiencing the excitement of watching track with my family every summer really sparked my interest in becoming an athlete. I decided to start running at the age of 14 and little did I know I would fall in love with the sport even more. One of my goals is to have an opportunity to continue my academics career while I'm competing athletically. As I continue to strive to improve my game, I also want to want improve my academic skills, as well. Besides all that, on the track. I'm willing to contribute in anyway possible to give my all on the track. I have a positive character on and off the track which I think would be beneficial to building teamwork and sportsmanship. I always encourage my teammates to keep their heads up if we’re going through a hard drill in practice. Every time I step on the track, my mentality is to get great and strive to get that medal. Additionally, I have a good trait to never settle for less during track meets and in the classroom. Those traits has been recognized by many and I continue to keep striving to achieve my goals. Thank you for your time and interest on reading my profile.
