William Mitchell '12 Recruiting Profile

In college, I hope to further my knowledge in engineering and other academic studies. I want to be prepared to enter a competitive workplace after graduation. I am a dedicated and hard worker in academics as well as in athletics. I grew up playing Squash at a national level and used what I learned to become a top runner in my State. I have learned a lot about being an athlete at practice, in competition, and at home. I have always loved running, and when I started running competitively, I pushed myself to achieve more. I know I will continue to run in college whether or not it is for a Varsity team. I run because I enjoy the challenge, the perseverance, the community, and the competition. I am prepared to make hard sacrifices to improve my academics and athleticism; I'm determined to be the best student and athlete possible.
