I envision my college years to be a time of personal growth and goal setting. This is how I would describe my experience as a high school student as well. Goal setting has been an important part of my life in every form; from preparing for my daily school routine, to studying for exams, to team practices and meets. I believe setting goals and having realistic expectations are what lead to success both in the classroom and on the field. Setting goals as a student and an athlete is what sets people apart. Although my goals may change from time to time, I am prepared to do what is necessary to achieve success. Writing my goals down helps me to envision them clearly so that I know what must be accomplished. One of my major goals in life is to earn the best education possible and to become the best version of me. I am committed to my academics; my grades will always come first. On the track, I plan to be a dynamic runner and a positive influence on the team. As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my college track career, I will strive to be an asset to the team. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the track, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches and the school I attend.
My name is Christopher D’Amore and I am your next Student Athlete!
