First of all, I am passionate about running. Originally I wasn't a great runner but I was still in shape through other sports that I played. However, my love for track blossomed on the Manalapan Englishtown Middle School Track Team. This is the place where I found out, not only how much I loved running, but also how much progress I could make if i worked hard. On this team i progressed through the rankings and was eventually first on my team, then I became the second runner in my middle school's history to win the meet of champions. This race hosted over 150 people comprised of only the best runners from each school. After winning my race I started to explore my talents and moved on to the junior Olympics. At regionals our club team (Shore Athletic Club) won the meet and I placed 8th overall with a 4k time of 14:09. Eventually our team made it to the nationals in New Mexico where we ran to our bodies limits. However, I know that speed alone will not get me anywhere in terms of getting recruited so I have built a character that coaches can easily get along with. Most importantly, I am extremely hard working which shows in my athletics as well as my academics. Recently I was admitted into the Biotechnology High School which is ranked 14th in the entire United States.
