I started running track last spring as a 10th grader for the first time and fell in love with the sport. Track is something that gives me confidence and allows me to be a leader for people. Whether that be by cheering them on or just by being someone they can talk to, it gives me a reason to put my best foot forward and be the best that I can be. Running at a collegiate level is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and is something very special. I am a very coachable athlete and always work hard on and off the track.
In school, I maintain a great GPA and am very active in extracurricular activities. I am a part of Students For Change and I help run other Voorhees team events like snack shacks, breakfasts, and fundraisers.
Outside of the classroom, I am a lifeguard as well as a volunteer head counselor for Vacation Bible School, which allows me to be connected to my community positively.
I want to attend a college that allows me to be challenged both academically and athletically. I am open to all options and want to compete where I best fit.
