Hi my name is Shakeem Simms and I’m a Jamaican native student athlete at saint marys High School Rutherford Nj ,I am 6’0 and 175. Im a first year track runner that runs the sprinting events which consists of the 100 meter dash, 200 meter dash, and the 400 meter dash. i also run the 4x1 relay and the 4x4 and 4x2 relays as well. I’m a team oriented player that is hungry for the next opportunity to help your program. And im striving to become better each and every day. i plan to major in business as well. I always felt like i had a calling to track as it’s always been around with me while i was still living in Jamaica. and with my first year ever doing track it felt so natural to me. It gave me a different type of passion and motivation i never had before the strive to get better every single day and i want my hardwork, dedication, and effort to showcase at the next level.
